Quarteirão

“O Quarteirão” is a medium-length, freely adapted film from the books of the universe of The Neighborhood of Gonçalo M. Tavares. From a few main characters, Mr. Walser, Mr. Calvino, among others, it establishes a relationship with the city, and a world where the philosophical wanderings of the characters gain a physical embodiment. Presented at the Festival Correntes D’Escrita 2016 in Póvoa do Varzim, in the Cycle CINEMA! NOW curated by Gonçalo Torcha at Renovar a Mouraria and presented at FOLIO 2016 in Óbidos, as well as Festival Books and Movies 2016, in Alcobaça.
